Maaike Hiemstra started watching Formula 1 at the tender age of 8 and can’t even remember a time when F1 wasn’t important in their family. 'Formula 1 was always there'. Even now, she still follows the race on Sunday. With family, with friends or alone; as long as she gets to watch! The tactics, the teamwork, the fast cars, the technology, the excitement. Everything about Formula 1 fascinates her. Everything except... the fan apparel. The official F1 sponsorship shirts are thoroughly underwhelming.
